Construction Document Best Practices for Residential Architects with Rand Soellner and Marilyn Moedinger – Part 2

Enoch SearsMay 5, 2015

How safe are your construction documents? Like most architects, I'm sure you have your ‘go-to' collection of standard details and notes.

In today's show I speak with architects Rand Soellner and Marilyn Moedinger, both members of ArCH (Architects Creating Homes), about ArCHspec, a pre-written architectural specification that combines 30 years of experience into a set of sheet specifications.

Rand Soellner, is the owner and principal of Home Architects, a nationwide practice specializing in custom residential architecture.

Marilyn Moedinger is an educator, architect and founder of Runcible Studios, an architecture firm located in Boston, Massachusetts.

In today's episode you'll discover:

  • How sheet specs can make your drawings clearer and more error-free
  • How using ArCHspec can help you as a residential architect.
