Summer is a great time to market your architecture firm, don't you think?
School is out, people are on vacation, and everyone has a bit of a ‘laid back' and ‘have some fun' attitude.
It's the perfect time for you to work on your business as an architecture firm owner.
Right now I'm sitting here in a hotel in Los Angeles.
We just finished hosting the Architect Business Development Summit where I brought together some of the leading thinkers on marketing for architects for two incredible days.
It was an action-packed event that attendees will not soon forget.
Breakthroughs abounded.
Here are a few of the breakthroughs that I heard architects who attended talking about:
I realize I need to think bigger!
My mindset has been keeping me from spending the time marketing my firm because I've had the belief that I will be annoying or lose friends if I promote my firm or talk about myself.
Marketing my firm is what allows me to help more people.
I realize now that effective marketing can be a step by step process and not a crap shoot!
People buy based on emotion, not on logic.
These are just a few of the thing I remember hearing.
After the 2 day Architecture Summit, we spent 3 days with our Million Dollar Mastermind Coaching Members where more breakthroughs occurred.
Fortunately, there was some fun thrown into the mix – we also had plenty of time to network, hang out, and visit some of Los Angeles' finest restaurants.
I love the summer because I feel re-energized by the warm weather, blue skies and family trips.

Yes it is! People are in a relaxed state of mind and thinking about building next spring and summer!
Great reminder to use the summer to re-think, re-charge and get focused on what needs to happen (both professionally and personally!).
Enoch, it seems like the Summit went really well. I think marketing is definitely harder for some to get a grasp of than for others. I definitely fall in the first group.
I think the message you have here is great.
Summers are precious here in Buffalo. I try to take advantage of just being outdoors when I can. There isn’t much time before 6ft snow is at your door around here.
As the archi-nerd is was during school, I usually spent my summer anxiously awaiting to start my next studio project… But now I am full-time aspiring architect! Not much free time anymore!
